Hooray for Hannah!
Hannah is here, finally. She has been here since the 4th, but I wanted to let her settle in before I posted about it. When she got here we went shopping for some furniture, I am attaching a video of our apartment so you guys can see where we live. I used to have a recliner, tv, and coffee table......

This is where I have been living since graduating college ( May 6th- July 11th). This is Hannah's fathers home and I am very grateful of his hospitality.

In other news :
My wisdom teeth were removed succesfully, and are in the process of healing. The bottom two which needed bone grafts are taking quite a bit longer than the top ones. Thankfully almost all of Thanksgiving foods are soft. Today is Thanksgiving, so … Happy Turkey day y’all! I am frying a turkey using a Char Broil Big Easy Infrared Fryer and pretty excited about it, Hannah is preparing pretty much everything else haha.
Also we purchased our plane tickets for Christmas time and will be home from the 23rd till the 2nd, so every one make time to hangout with us!
Hannah -> ” Hello everyone, Happy Thanksgiving! We are having a great time here, everyone should plan a trip to come visit! We miss you and can’t wait to see you for Christmas.”
I will let you guys know how are Thanksgiving goes, and thanks to those who provided us with some recipes!

My company sent me to Tulsa to complete “medium vehicle training” which allows me to pull goose neck trailers, pretty boring haha. The photo in this post is of the rockies taken from an airplane… thought it was a good opportunity to take a shot.
So I haven’t been up to much else just working a lot , we have had some management changes and things have been sort of crazy but nothing bad. Oh! For those of you who don’t know I was placed here in Bakersfield with three other new hires, although they were in different segments, they have all quit… I thought that was interesting lol.
In other news, I finally got a consult on my wisdom teeth and they are going to have to be removed as the bottom two are impacted pretty badly and I will need a bone graft to fill in the area my teeth have destroyed… lovely…
The most exciting news is that Hannah is coming! Yup she is coming to Cali to live with me and I’m really excited, its going to be awesome… Also good news we will be back for Christmas if tickets prices aren’t outrageous…
Well, it has been a month since I have left Ohio and started work. Since then I have been to Houston, Tulsa, Phoenix, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Venice, Sequoia National Park, and my new resident city, Bakersfield.
It has been quite the month, a lot of traveling and sight seeing so where to start? The beginning I suppose, Well in Houston and Tulsa I did some training for work, which included accident avoidance where I had the oppurtunity to drive like a mad man in Ford F-150s, it was a blast. I got to perform controlled spin outs, drift and learn other life saving maneuvers.
L.A.
Once I arrived in Bakersfield the first weekend me and a friend from training decided to spontaneously go to LA on a Saturday afternoon, we made it into Hollywood and saw the walk of fame and went to the Ripley’s and Guinness world records museums on Hollywood Blvd. Overall it was kind of dissappointing, I guess I had Hollywood really built up in my mind and it was actually quite run down. After that we drove through Beverly Hills and hit up Rodeo Dr. which also was a let down, there were far more camrys and accords than Ferraris or Lambos… which you would expect to find in such a wealthy neighborhood. Perhaps we were looking in the wrong area, but o well.
Venice Beach and Boardwalk
The following weekend we headed to Venice Beach where we walked the board walk, this turned out to be alot of fun. It was my first time seeing the Pacific ocean, which was very cold, too cold to swim in at least. Speaking of temperatures… that day when we left Bakersfield it was 97 degrees F, when we arrived in Venice 2 hrs later it was 72 degrees F, which I find to be crazy… Anyhow we walked the entire boardwalk and did a little bit of shopping, and saw all of the entertainers and what not. While walking the board walk we happen to come across the taping of NINJA WARRIOR!!! If you have never seen this television show, it consist of competitors going through crazy obstacle courses and it’s pretty sweet.
Sequoia National Park
So, whats next? Ah yes! Sequoia National Park, definitly the coolest trip I have taken so far, it took about 2 hours to get to the base of the mountain, and then almost another hour to drive to the appropriately named Giant Tree Forest, which is at an elevation of ~6,000 ft! The two lane roads ascending the mountain were insane! They were so twisty and fun, but also quite dangerous considering that at times there was nothing in between you and the edge of the cliff.
Once you get to the top and start driving through the Giant Tree Forest, you can begin to see some sequoias, which true to their reputation, are huge. We stopped at the Giant Tree museum and took a shuttle over to see the biggest tree in the world ( by volume) , General Sherman. It was truly magnificent, in addition the park has all sorts of cool trails to hike on, and different ”fun facts” on the trees. I highly recommend that you go there.
Well, that’s my first month gone from Ohio, if anybody has any questions feel free to leave them in the comment box.

After graduating college I had the opportunity to go to Cancun, Mexico. It was pretty excellent and I would recommend it to others. I went with my Aunt, Uncle, their two friends, My cousin, Danielle, her finance, Drew, and my girlfriend, Hannah. We visited Chichen Itza and were able to swim in sink hole which was amazing. We visited some of the best clubs in the world, shopped at the local stores and got to hang at the pool all day. It was definitely a great time!
